IJFR - Spreading around the web

Thanks to all of you for spreading the word about IJFR. We have found a few minor bugs and incompatibilities, which are being added to the FAQs. I am checking to see if we can fix some of these things in the short term. I will let you know.
Quick List:
- Leica M8 files do not seem to have a preview file in their native DNG from the camera. So the workaround would be to run them through the DNG converter or Lightroom or ACR and add the medium or large preview file. Might be a good thing to do as part of the file upload from the card.
- Also no large embedded JPEGs in the Sigma .X3F files.
- Sony .arw files and Canon sRaws not working. That is on our side.
- Some (so far) random files when converted to DNG or fed through exiftools, are not compatible with IJFR. We are investigating.

Great utility - would love to have it working on 64-bit Vista, to complement 64-bit Lightroom. Happy to help test that out

Same here. I was really disappointed to find it didn't work on 64 bit Vista. It would be nice if there was a warning to say it only works on 32 bit Vista.

We are looking into it. We will make the lack of 64 bit more clear. Sorry for any confusion. And remember that it works via the workaround that I posted in Vista64.

Should it work with Nikon NEF? The program appears to have been successfully installed on my Vista Home Premium 32bit but there is no menu item when I right-click on NEF files.

I too am disappointed it wouldn't run on Windows XP x 64 (not vista)
Great product. Now I can go back to just shooting RAW instead of RAW + small JPEG. I gain back some disk space and have a bit deeper buffer in my 40D. For Event photographers IJFR is a must have if they shoot RAW - after an event, in just a couple of minutes, they can have JPEG images to upload.
This utility doesn't seem to work for Panasonic Lumix LX3 RAW images either, unfortunately. Any plans to make it compatible?
Hey just wondering, when using bridge CS3, bridge affects the view of the file with it's own settings, does this affect the jpg stored within the raw file? Or is this just stored in the XMP files?

John - Nothing affects the internal JPEG of the raw, except for DNG where there is the option of re-writing the internal JPEG (dng preview image) using the ACR/LR settings, rather than the camera settings.

This is an unbelievable utility as it is, you've really saved me with this one. I only have two complaints (so far=)) It doesn't include the Adobe's .XMP files when I go to convert. There should be a check-box including (or not including) the effects of the editing from ACR. The second complaint is that it doesn't work in Bridge/Lightroom. Anytime we could see these soon? BUT, beggars can't be choosers! I totally love this product and would probably spend a pretty penny on it if you made me. (not that you should)
